Table of Contents
The BGIS 2026 Round 4 tournament has officially come to an end. After four days of intense battle, we finally have the 28 slots of the quarterfinal filled. At this time, the seasoned veterans have held their ground firmly, and groups 5 to 8 have stolen the spotlight.
If you missed the match yesterday, Arena of Tech has the full breakdown of the final standings, the qualified teams, and the updated Ban report.

The Final 28: Groups 5, 6, 7 & 8 Standings
During the final hours of day 4 of the tournament, everyone saw visible stress. Every finish point was counted as the respective teams fought tirelessly to secure the Top 7 “Golden Line”, which means direct qualification.

Group 8: The Ultimate Showdown
During the tournament, we saw a very desperate scramble near the Blue Zone as teams like Revenant XSpark and Team AX navigated the ridges. Group 8 has really lived up to its name as the “Group of Death”.
Watching the final circle in Miramar was really amazing. A single well-placed grenade from the low ground completely shifted the Top 7 rankings, knocking out a fan-favorite team that looked safe just minutes before. It’s a reminder that in BGIS, you aren’t safe until the final ‘Match Over’ screen appears.

Overview (Group 5,6 & 7)
Group 5 featured a tactical masterclass from iQOO Orangutan, who secured their spot early. Group 6 saw Vasista Esports and Sinewy Esports fighting tooth and nail for the top seed. And group 7, Lolzzz gaming, and Hell Risers proved why they are known as the fiery veterans.
The Ban Report: 22+ Teams Disqualified
| Rule Violated | Reason |
|---|---|
| Rule 6.2.2 | Technical Cheating (Hacks/Scripts) |
| Rule 6.3.8 | Bribery & Match Fixing |
| Rule 2.1.5 | Roster Ringing (Playing for multiple teams) |

An additional 13 teams (including Team Captain, JAAPI ESPORTS, and SHADOW BLITZ) were removed for violating Rule 2.1.5 (Roster Exclusivity), bringing the total count to 22 teams.
As the Day 4 tournament ends, Krafton’s commitment to fair play has been the biggest story of Round 4 as the disqualification count hits 22+.
Coming from a tech background, I find the technical side of these bans fascinating. Krafton isn’t just looking at reports; they also analyze SDK logs and device IDs. It’s a tough move, but it protects the integrity of the 2 Crore prize pool.
Quarter Finals and Wildcard
Now the competition moves to the Quarter Finals, which is starting from February 26, 2026.
-
Direct Qualifiers: 56 Teams (Top 7 from each Round 4 group).
